Oceaneering International provides services to offshore oil companies. Their services include:
- drilling support
- repair service
They designed their services’ structure for places where most companies do not prefer to work, like bottom of the Sea and places of similar nature.
In recent years Oceaneering has turned its attention to beefing up its ROV business. From 2004 to 2011, in response to increased demand from the deep-water industry, the company added 161 ROVs. During this time, it also disposed off 61 older ROVs as a part of fleet upgrade.
